Smartphone manufacturers offer various ways to take screenshots. ASUS also provides such capabilities, but if you are switching from a different model, it might not be obvious at first. There are several ways to capture a screenshot. By default, you can take a screenshot using the function built into Android (Jelly Bean or higher) by simultaneously holding down the power button and the volume down button (the bottom button on the back of the casing). This is a functional, albeit not the most convenient, solution.
Another method is to add the "screenshot" option to the quick settings menu. Once this option is selected, you will have the screenshot feature available in the drop-down menu from the top of the screen.
Another method is to use the recent apps button to take a screenshot (the right button at the bottom, represented by two rectangles).
From now on, holding down the recent apps button will trigger a screenshot. I personally prefer this option as it is the fastest and does not require opening additional menus or holding down two buttons simultaneously.
