The UN logo in this post is no coincidence. The title of this post might suggest that we are going back at least to the year 1543, when Nicolaus Copernicus's work titled "De revolutionibus orbium coelestium" (On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres) was first published. Reaching into the deepest corners of the internet, I encountered materials examining the facts regarding whether our Mother Earth is actually a sphere or if we have been deceived for a long time by major space agencies and scientists specializing in astronomy. I was intrigued by the fact that anyone would bother to investigate this at all, and treating it as a curiosity, I decided to see what it is that inspires proponents of the theory that the Earth might actually be flat after all???
Perhaps this is a new viral trend sweeping the web. Perhaps it is disinformation noise intentionally released into the network to hide a completely different truth? Maybe the Earth is neither a sphere nor flat... maybe it is something else entirely, and only by passing through the doors to Narnia while earning a degree at Hogwarts could one grasp it with their mind... But okay, jokes aside, this documentary is produced in a very interesting way, and despite being a collection of facts stitched together, it contains interesting information in the fields of optics, physics, and astronomy that the authors use to support their theory. I have no idea how the readers of this post or I could verify and prove the validity or otherwise of the theses presented here. In line with the idea that a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth, one can always explore a different point of view and form their own opinion on the subject. Perhaps some mathematicians, physicists, and experts in optics and geography will address these theses... If you discover anything, let me know, and in the meantime, enjoy watching.
