Who in Poland doesn't have friends working in England? Perhaps you are one of them – those who left their family home to work in a foreign country. The phenomenon of emigration and working abroad is perceived in various ways, both positive and negative. There is also a sense that things will be better "OVER THERE," but perhaps the very act of defining one's goal as some "OVER THERE" makes a person push themselves harder and simply cope better. After all, once the decision to leave has been made, you can't easily back out because of the shame, so you have to give more of yourself, and it turns out that you succeed. Life in Poland often lacks motivation, but in a foreign place, it is possible to summon more from within.
