Google Chat in Gmail. How to enable it?

Google has changed its communication service from Hangouts to Chat, and now you can check how it works and looks in your Gmail mailbox. It's not enabled by default yet, but you can enable it yourself. Just go to the chat settings page and select the appropriate option.
