Red Hat, the publisher of the most well-known enterprise Linux distribution, has enabled everyone interested to use a free license for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Developer Suite product. The package includes not only the operating system itself with access to all updates, but also a wealth of additional tools, including a complete, full JBoss environment. The offer is aimed at anyone who decides to register for the Red Hat Developer Program (this can be done without creating an account by logging in via Facebook or Google). Every registrant will receive access to a non-production subscription for a more stable developer platform for building enterprise-class applications. This move by Red Hat is intended to pave the way for supported, key deployments in the cloud, on physical servers, in virtual machines, or in containers. The primary goal is to facilitate the construction of hybrid clouds by offering developers tools that ensure full compatibility across platforms and deployment methods. With the free license, we have access to the aforementioned Red Hat Enterprise Server as well as all tools covered by ten-year support. You will find development environments for PHP, Python, Ruby, and, of course, Java 7 and Java 8. The package also includes software updated directly from Red Hat Software Collections and Red Hat Developer Toolset, which contain web servers, databases, compilers, and debuggers. After April 12, development tools for the .NET platform will also be added. This version may be useful for those preparing for exams instead of CentOS or Fedora, as well as for learning about JBoss tools and the application server.
We invite everyone interested to register on the Red Hat website.
