On April 1, 2014, I wrote about a certain book. That book is now getting a film adaptation. I am talking about "The Shack" by W.M. Paul Young. The book is quite unique and stands out in the publishing market. Although a lot of time has passed since I read it, it still remains in my memory. When I recommend this read to others, with few exceptions, the publication usually makes the same impression on them as it did on me. Either way, even if for some reason it doesn't appeal to you, it is worth checking out.
This story can now be experienced in a cinematic format. The premiere is scheduled for March 3, 2017. I am curious how the filmmakers tackled the challenge of bringing the events described in the book to life. I assume it was no easy task.
For some, this may be a curiosity; for others, a faster way to discover the story that made the book a global bestseller. Either way, if the film version is even half as good as the book, it will certainly be worth seeing.
