Online advertising, especially the intrusive kind that covers the content we want to read, can drive you crazy. Although some websites argue that ads aren't that bad and provide funding for the content we read for free, many sites go overboard with the size and placement of their ads. The popularity of extensions like AdBlock and its clones didn't come from nowhere. Today, I gave uBlock a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the extension's performance; pages load significantly faster than with AdBlock.
