Anonymous vs Islamic State

The Anonymous group has released a statement announcing their campaign against the Islamic State. The published material reveals, among other things, that: "We are Muslims, Christians, Jews; we are hackers, agents, spies, and the guy next door. We are young and old, of every race, rich and poor (...). We will hunt you down, take down your websites, social media accounts, and emails. From today, there is no safe place for you online. You will be treated like a virus, and we are the cure. From now on, the internet belongs to us." It is well known that social media platforms are where ISIS disseminates propaganda and recruits new members.
